Messaging and platform rules for responsible Wapio usage.

Last updated May 1, 2026

1

Expected Messaging Practices

Send messages only to people who expect communication from your business or application. Respect opt-out requests promptly and maintain records of consent. Follow local consent rules and regulations applicable to your messaging activities. Do not send messages outside of reasonable business hours unless the recipient has explicitly opted in.

2

Prohibited Content

You may not use Wapio to transmit: spam or unsolicited bulk messages, phishing or social engineering attempts, malware or harmful links, pornographic or obscene material, harassment or threatening content, misleading or deceptive messages, content that violates intellectual property rights, or any content that violates applicable laws or regulations.

3

Operational Safety

Use pacing controls and session health signals provided by the Service. Implement reasonable retry behavior with exponential backoff. Do not attempt to bypass rate limiting, throttling, platform rules, or abuse controls. Monitor your session health and message delivery rates to ensure quality sending practices.

4

Account Security

Keep your API keys and credentials secure. Do not share account access with unauthorized parties. Implement proper authentication in your integrations. Report any suspected security breaches to Wapio immediately.

5

Enforcement

Wapio may throttle, pause, suspend, or terminate accounts that generate complaints, abuse signals, illegal traffic, or infrastructure instability. We may take action without prior notice in cases of severe violations. Repeated or egregious violations will result in permanent account termination without refund.
